Denis Defibaugh of The School of Photographic Arts and Sciences and Lorrie Frear of Graphic Design Department in the School of Design are pleased to announce that the fifth annual issue of Positive/Negative Magazine has received two Platinum Awards from the Creativity Print and Packaging Awards for its cover and interior design. The magazine is produced in the collaborative interdisciplinary Editorial Design Class, in which teams of photographers and designers work together on teams to write, shoot and design articles for the magazine, which is printed at PAL at RIT. This year's magazine also included an iPad/iPhone tablet version of the magazine. Spreads from the ipad tablet version may be viewed on www.positivenegativemagazine.com.

The 42nd Creativity Award winning submissions will be on an international tour, beginning with an exhibition in London on October 19. Winners can be seen in the 42nd Creativity Design Annual in early 2013 and on its iPad app.
