Gregory S. D’Amico, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor, School of Media Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. D’Amico teaches courses in the School of Media Sciences’ graduate and undergraduate programs in management, operations, and research. His own research has concentrated on the successful implementation of management information systems (MIS) in the graphic communications industry.
He is also a consultant to industry specializing in the development and execution of in-house training programs in management, operations, and marketing. He is the author of three books, Customer-Centered Production, Customer-Centered Marketing, and, Business Growth through Effective MIS, all published by Idealliance (Formerly NAPL). He was previously director of the Center for Graphic Communications and its Ph.D. and M.A. degree programs at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education.
Dr. D’Amico was voted Professor of the Year by the Undergraduate Student Government at NYU Steinhardt (1992-1993), and has twice received The Award for Teaching Excellence at NYU School of Professional Studies (2007, 2014) where he continues to serve as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Integrated Marketing.
Dr. D’Amico received his B.A. degree in Economics from SUNY at Stony Brook and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Graphic Communications from New York University.
