Robin Cass been a faculty member in the Glass Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology since 1998 and has also taught at Pilchuck Glass School, Haystack, The Studio at Corning. She served on the board of directors of the Glass Art Society from 2004 through 2010. She earned her BFA at RISD and her MFA from Alfred University.
Cass's work is included in a number of public and private collections including the Museum of American Glass in New Jersey, Tacoma Museum of Glass in Washington State, and Tittot Museum in Taipei, Taiwan. She has also been featured in several books including "Masters of Blown Glass", edited by Susan Rossi-Wilcox, and "25 Years of New Glass Review" edited by Tina Oldknow. While on sabbatical from RIT last year, she was a visiting artist and faculty member at the Osaka University of Arts in Japan.
