High Falls Film Festival is an annual international film festival that showcases exceptional work by women in film and video. It is held annually in Rochester, NY, the home of Susan B. Anthony and George Eastman, founder of Kodak and the inventor of motion-picture film.
Women of SoFA is proud to have been a part of this festival from its beginning. The Women of SoFA show highlights the works of women student filmmakers in the School of Film and Animation at Rochester Institute of Technology. Their unique visions represent the future.
Each year the show is curated by a committee of student filmmakers from RIT under the supervision of Professors Cathleen Ashworth and Naomi Orwin. |
