Johannes Bockwoldt (Assistant Professor, School of Film and Animation,
Rochester Institute of Technology)received his MA from Temple University in Philadelphia,
PA. At RIT, he teaches film and video production and screenwriting.
Originally from Germany, in his writing Johannes aims to balance a
European sensibility with story telling as exemplified by the best
of American cinema. He is currently in pre-production for Heart
of Saturday Night, a feature length dramatic musical that takes
place during one Saturday night. His short film, It's Only a Dance,
was shown at the 2003 Image, Movement, Sound Festival in Rochester,
NY.
Nancy Beiman

Nancy Beiman has worked as a supervising animator, director, character
designer, and storyboard artist for studios in five countries. She
has worked in feature film, television specials, commercials, and
new media. Nancy produced her own independent film, YOUR FEETS TOO
BIG, has illustrated several books and written articles on animation
and cartooning. She is a graduate of the CHARACTER ANIMATION PROGRAM
at the California Institute of the Arts.
Tom Gasek

Tom Gasek is an award winning director and animator with over 25
years in the commercial, broadcast and feature industry. Tom’s
commercial work has been included in the permanent collection of
the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Out of Hand Animation, which
is owned by Tom, operates out of Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
It is through “OOH, Inc.” that Tom has conducted animation
workshops at universities around the North East including Harvard,
R.I.S.D. and R.I.T. as well as serving clients like Leo Burnett
(Chicago), Nickelodeon Television, and Aardman Animations in Bristol
England. Tom is completing his MFA at The Art Institute of Boston
at Lesley University and earned a BFA at R.I.T.
