I have been doing some work for Fifth Year Productions and created this for them. The design was requested to look like the video player used on there site, so I didn’t have much say on that. It was made using ActionScript 3.0 and I am currently working on adding XML functionality to it so they can easily update it.

This is a work in progress that I created in Cinema 4D. I basically just made it for fun. Maybe in the future I’ll find a use for it.

This was a team project that consisted of multiple components to enhance the DOME at RIT. Click here to learn more about the DOME. I was the designer of the web content for a project that was created to run within the DOME.

Concept:
A game that uses sound based input and timing to determine the score. The game is composed of rings of spheres that rotate at different intervals. The spheres consist of four different colors. Each color has a point value assigned to it. The primary goal is to generate a noise when the spheres that are worth the most points are aligned between the bars on the left of the screen.
Game Features:
- Increasing level of difficulty based on the number of rings.
- Changing center circle that alters the dynamics of the game play.
Score Calculation:
- The more spheres collected with a positive point value the higher the final score.
- Timing is crucial because if a noise is generated when negative colored spheres are in between the lines points will be reduced.

The idea behind this project was somewhat based off how a spirograph can be used to create random patterns. The mouse coordinates are used to change the curve position of the lines, the lines thickness, and the visibility of the lines. The speed the mouse is moved at also affects the color of the lines created. Plus, the keyboard arrow keys can be used to adjust the glow and blur.
Here are some examples of what I was able to create with this:
