Camera Mapping

Category: 3D, Cinema 4D

Well this is that video I was working on towards the end of school. It has been finished for sometime now, I thought I was going to go back and fix it… ya know… make it better? Well I decided not to. I’m going to use motion tracking for my next video, camera mapping is a bitch.

The Paint Bucket

Category: Random

I was Project Manager for senior Team Project at RIT, and this was one of our two videos. Our concept was to take Photoshop tools and bring them into real life. Giving people in certain situations the opportunity to use them and some how screwing them over in the end.

The story behind this is there is a lazy rookie janitor and when left alone, tries to make work easier. He pulls out the Paint Bucket too, activates it,l and walks off. The plan ends up back firing as the paint spreads too far as it chases him down the halls.

Adobe Achievement Awards

Category: Uncategorized

So, I am a semi-finalist in both the Animation and Motion Graphics sections of the Adobe Achievement Awards. I posted Sharkpunch TV and the HomeworkHotline videos. That is pretty exciting. Though they are old, I’m glad people like them.

Greenscreen

Green Screen

During the winter I had an experimental class in which we had a lot of freedom. I decided to take on the green screen. I gathered a few friends, a camera, and told them each what to do without giving away what they were doing it for. Here is the result of one of the projects.

Bobcat

Here is my newest model. The Bobcat S185 Turbo. Inspiration came from my father’s fleet of Bobcats all different models. My friend, Lindsay Burtner, did the XPresso work for this machine. In other words, having the pistons work the way they should.

Category: 3D, Cinema 4D

Messing around further with grass and natural interaction, I now have wind blowing through the tall grass.

Cinema 4d grass collision.

Category: 3D, Cinema 4D

So for Career Skills, I decided to do a short 3D project featuring a character walking through a field of grass and other natural objects. I messed around with the hair in C4D and came out with this.

I also wanted part of a scene to have light peer through tree branches and leaves, here is what I have so far.

LOVE THE BOMB.

Nearing an end with all this 3D work. Quite a lot of work went into this, unfortunately, I had many other classes that took time away from this project. But in the end… it’s not flash.
