Sweet more finals designs. We took a chance with the wheel navigation, its needs a like more work to it. We got lots of critique’s from FI, it was really neat to hear from a different and outside perspective. So hopefully either this weekend or sometime before industry day, me and Randy Church will finalize the design and development!

Worked with my brother to do some logos for my mom’s new founded organization: Angels in Action Foundation.
“The vision of the Angels in Action is to maintain and preserve justice by good deeds, to respect all peoples, to assist in the well being of others, and to work toward a unified world community.”
Here are some versions, still in the process:

Here is my logo sketches, my process work from start to finish. My last name is really long, way too long to make a kool design thing out of it. So I focused on making a logo that represented myself. I feel like I have accomplished that entirely here. I really love my logo, and I hope u do as well! If you see any room for improvement, please, critique’s are appreciated as always!

At first I wanted three different J’s: air, land, and water. The I realize I was complicating things and simplified it to air. I got inspiration from a p-40 war hawk plane beause out all of the planes the iconic shark face represented timelessness to me. Even though I like technology, I still remember my roots and dig old school style.

All my intial sketches from the beginning of last Winter Quarter. These are sketches for layout and logo ideas for our Feed Me website “Quietes Consulting”. A classmate and friend of mine, Steven Parker, helped me with an idea to make a unique website, one that would change (morph) depending on the status of user, whether they were closer to death or not. Here I have my death concept, and the change would be to a more marble white stone setting.

This is an idea from Fall quarter then never made it to the final production. My partner and I had both originally worked on this project together. The theme of our project was to show something about global warming or the environment. (A never-ending theme this year in every single class. urgh)
We both are conceptual people and wanted to do something not so literal. It was my partner’s idea of the theme “7 deadly sins”, that we should state how people are the problem not only to the world but to themselves. And I contributed by suggesting a style of using inks, relating to how everything moves in fluid motion throughout our lifetime. We both love traditional art and using self-made resources, so we had agreed. Unfortunately though, my partner had was not doing her end of the workload and I was unable to do everything myself, so then we had to shorten the project and cut a lot of graphics out. We finished the project but I am not completely satifised with the results.
Through that unfortunate chain of events though, I have learned to better manage myself and have gained more experience and knowledge to produce faster artwork. I have also learned better and more confident communication skills.
So I found my original storyboards that I did, it prob needs another round of comps but I want to go back to that project and complete it for myself. Please let me know what you think, Here’s a couple of them:

Mood/Stlye boards:

The most exciting part of it, was when I got to make my first ink footage sinking in water! I love manuel labor, so getting the camera and lights set up and buying the tank and everything. It was such a great learning experience!
Here’s a clip of one example of the many footage’s I took. I wish I added a couple more lights. I was able to still mask it out but it wasn’t easy.

So for our very first assignment we have to bring in a couple of pictures we like. So our teachers can have a better understanding of our knowledge of photography and what we want to achieve from this class. I’m a really excited and cant wait!!! I had to look at past photographers and sites that I remember seeing before that really caught my eye.
I have 3 different groups of direction I loved so far:
**For these 1st three I really like the lighting and the composition. The simple and subtle angles are intriguing, like telling a story. Also, the natural lighting is amazing too.

**These next 2 I love the concept and the originality of the piece. The artist claims there is no photoshop and he does a lot of live performances. I presume he uses wires but nonetheless I love his humor in the photos.

**These next 3, i love love love the composting done to it. The way the artist integrated illustration/3d with real photography. Combining the digital and the natural world in the same dimension.
