Hiya! My name is Jae P. Salavarrieta. . .

I am currently attending Rochester Institute of Technology. I am a senior majoring in New Media Design & Imaging. I will be graduating this May of 2009.

I am seeking a full-time job in the Fall that would let me focus on either design or motion graphics. I am eager to learn and try new things that will help to push myself further in everything I do.

I have been focusing on 3D, design, interactive design, motion graphics conceptualizing, and interface building.

I have experience with filming and photography. I like to make my own stock footage and pictures to use in my work. Lately, I have discovered that I have a interest for compositing. I also like to use photos I’ve taken for my textures in my 3D modeling, and creating my own footage for transitions in after effects.

For interface building, I have worked with flash, html,css, and javascript. Coding is not my strongest point, but I make it a point to still try to learn it. This also helps to speed progress in teams when I am in group projects and working with developers.
