Goals of the course
To provide students with project ideas and resources to realize new
digital imaging paradigms and the dynamics of teamwork; to
participate in the planning, writing, and publishing a technical
publication by integrating design, content creation, digital media, and
print production workflows together.
Course description
This course will explore the science of process control for repeatable color and
extend the scope of ICC-based color management practices by integrating a
number of imaging devices in color-managed digital workflows. Students are
expected to work in a team environment, to engage in planning, and
conducting experiments, and to publish a technical publication using the
state-of-the-art printing facilities.
