FeedMe was established for the New Media Team Project at RIT. FeedMe is a collection of dynamic individuals, each with their own skills, determined to create a project worthy of the highest accolades.

The Problem

Finding a unique solution with RSS feeds, that has numerous possibilities and endless information. As a group we will need to gather the feeds that best fit our agenda and manipulate the information in a way that will engage the user in a visual and personal experience.

Our Solution

Using a feed based website to involve a community of users in estimating their possible death percentage. The website will have a clean style that supports the information of the “death-O-meter”. The Viewer’s death percentage and age will be estimated by information based some of the following feeds:

For twenty weeks, as a team, we will be experimenting, creating, and researching feeds. Both combining all this data and making a personal connection to the user is our main goal in this project. We will be documenting our progress here in this blog! Hope you enjoy!

I am 4th year New Media Design and Development major currently working in Rochester at GripMedia Inc as an applications developer. After taking classes in Digital Photography, Photoshop and Digital Music throughout High School, I decided RIT would allow him to grow in the field he feels most capable. My strengths include PHP, XHTML, JavaScript and ActionScript 3, as well as design and creative development involving Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. I despise Dreamweaver, and won’t upload an html file in progress until it’s been styled.

My passions of design are in motion graphics, web design, 3D, branding, and broadcasting. I like working in teams and have had years of pairing with back end designers.
