Dynamic Persuasion – Project 3 Concept
Concept:
The user is introduced to a 2D side-scrolling world in which he or she controls an Avatar. Meant as a social network with game elements and over world. Plot details?
Interaction:
Users can communicate with other avatars. Users can customize their avatar. Users can complete achievements (i.e. climbing a mountain, talking to other avatars, complete mini-games, setting records in mini-games, time spent in game, etc.).
Viral Aspects:
- Users will be able to take a snapshot of their avatar and download it as a wallpaper size image to show off to friends.
- Buying in-game avatar upgrades using points gained from achievements.
- Users will essentially be competing with each other to see who has the coolest/best avatar.
- Users will return and devote more time to the “game” to see the progression of their avatar.
Design:
2D, Paper Mario-esque layered environments.
