The two following images demonstrate two of the four possible places people will be able to walk to when they go to the site. They will choose a name, and then be able to use the keyboard to walk to one of four message boards. When they walk close enough, a talk bubble will appear, allowing them to post their hatred, sadness, happiness or love of anything they please.
There are two current movements going on currently with the web which act as a definition of web 2.0. The first is social websites where the users create the content. This has been around for about a year or so with examples such as digg, youtube, flickr, wikipedia, and of course myspace to lead the way. The second movement is web applications. This is a relatively new movement. Google documents and spreadsheets, and the facebook development platform are great examples of this.
The first project for Dynamic Persuasion Design is to create a user generated site that is fun and interactive using text. It is a 3 week project. My idea is to create an interface where people can enter a name, and control their own footsteps. When the footsteps walk close enough to another set of footsteps, they can talk to each other by posting a shout-out.
