Program Overview
An intimate and creative area of study, the Glass program focuses on comprehensive instruction, exposing students to artistic perspectives and opinions. The curriculum fosters effective artistic expression by teaching both techniques and idea realization within the field of glass. Foundations courses will assist you in finding your voice and empower you to find a personal definition for your work. In this program you will study the fundamentals of blowing, stained glass, casting and sand carving. Idea generation, development, execution, and presentation are also explored. Self-promotion, gallery interaction, and business practices are especially emphasized, allowing you to graduate fully prepared to begin your career.
