A community of high school educators who are interested in publishing creative work produced by their students.
Member benefits:
• Free attendance for one student per high school to the RIT Advertising and Production workshop, a three-day career exploration program offered in summer at RIT; additional students receive 50% tuition scholarship.
• One printed publication created by students produced at RIT per year ($100 limit); publication can also be used as an entry for the YPP competition. (What can $100 buy you? 100 12” x 18” color posters; 500 8 ½” x 11” ‘three-fold’ brochures; 25 16-page booklets, 4 ¼” x 5 ½”; 100 3x5 stickers.)
Who is eligible?
• High School teachers of art, design, printing, visual communications, digital arts or similar areas
• Advisors of yearbook or newspaper clubs
Requirementss
• Job ticket for printed publication from your class to be completed with consultation of RIT faculty or staff member; after consultation is complete and correct files are received, job will be printed and shipped to educator within 3 weeks.
