SOFA is home to the only Apple Certified Pro Applications Training Center between New York City and Toronto, Canada. We hold workshops for professionals so that they might achieve "User Certification". A benefit of having the Center on campus is that any SOFA student who feels qualified is eligible to take the certification exam at a discounted rate without having to take the workshop.
Facility
Our Apple Certified Workshops are now taught in our new HD editing lab within the new $4.5M School of Film and Animation facility in the Gannett building at RIT. It is equipped with 20 stations containing quad core Mac Pro computers and dual 23" Apple Cinema monitors.
