Stunning cups available at Ceramics Guild's sale
The RIT Ceramics Guild is providing an opportunity to buoy the aesthetic of drinkware collections with its annual sale of striking, student-made cups and mugs.
Hundreds of cups will be available for purchase as members of the guild, comprised mainly of students in the School for American Crafts’ ceramics program, make around 15-30 apiece.
There are two upcoming sale blocks, during which the public can select from a vast menu of various styles, colors and sizes:
• 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, in the lobby of the Student Alumni Union
• 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, on the second floor of Booth Hall
This is the fourth consecutive year of the guild’s cup sale fundraiser. Proceeds support the ceramics program’s visiting artist series, which brings several guests to RIT for lectures and demonstrations each academic year, and other educational opportunities for the program.
